What you can do on this page:
You have the option to assign the right to view details of a specific security to another TreasuryDirect account holder. Only View rights can be granted to another individual for securities with the Sole Owner registration type. To provide View rights to another account holder (or grantee), you must have the individual's Social Security Number and TreasuryDirect account number. By assigning rights, you then become a grantor of the security.
Primary Actions
- Click "Submit" to go to Manage Direct > Assign Rights > Summary. You, as the grantor, will see a message at the top of this page confirming View rights have been granted. The grantee will be sent an e-mail stating View rights were granted by you.
- Click "Cancel" to return to Manage Direct > Assign Rights > Detail.
